It's Monday! What are you reading? And October Wrap-up

This meme is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.

Books read last week:

Books currently reading:
  • Not completely sure what I am in the mood to read. I am going to check out the new books at work tomorrow to see what appeals to me

Books waiting in the wings:
  • Lemon Tree: An Arab, A Jew and the Heart of the Middle East by Sandy Tolan (for my MUS Moms book group and Middle East Reading Challenge)
  • Reservation Blues by Sherman Alexie (for my other book group)

With the end of October comes fall and all the vacations! I am not sure that I am ready for all the upcoming holidays, but I am sure that once they're here I'll be very pleased.

Books Read and Reviewed:
I really like seeing all the books I've read in one month listed in one place. This month of reading was one of my favorites!

You had a good month of reading. It is satisfying seeing them all listed in one place isn't it? Hope next month is just was rewarding.

Helen I am so surprised you have Lemon Tree waiting for you.... so do I. I bought this on a friends recommendation and have yet to read it. I hear it is fantastic! I hope we both really enjoy it.

You read a great selection of books last month. I envy you that you can check out at work what to read next!

Have a great week, hope you find some good books!

You had a great month. I read your review of Out of My Mind as I loved this book so much that I put it on this years book battle list. I also read you review of Teaching Digital Natives and think I need to get this and read it too. Hope you have a great week and that November is as good or better than October was.

Jenners--I do like seeing them all in one place. It reminds me of what I've read recently and how much I enjoyed the books (especially this month)

Sheila--How fun that we both have Lemon Tree on our soon-to-read lists. I have heard such good things about it

Danielle--If November is as good as October for book quality, I will be SO happy

Leeswammes--having a youth lit library in front of me every day is so much fun and so tempting!

Jan--Out of My Mind really is SO good; I wish all students would read it. Teaching Digital Natives is also good, especially just to remind us of what's out there and that "technology" isn't intimidating for our students, it's just part of their lives

I'm also not reading anything right now. I'm going to wait until tomorrow to pick my next book, which needs to be for the Nook. I'm traveling this week and am trying to be book free (first time ever).

Have a great week!

Tribute--I haven't heard of Trophy Bride before

Mari--I look forward to hearing what you think of traveling "book" free!

BookJunkie--I haven't tried reading a Kindle in the car. I assume it would cause the same problem as reading a book...
