It's Monday! What are you reading?

This meme is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey

Books read last week:
Books currently reading:
  • Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts (Chapters 10-14 this week)
  • The Case for the Only Child by Susan Newman
Books waiting in the wings:
  • Girl in Translation by Jean Kwok
Watched: Normally I don't list what TV or movies I've watched during the week, but I just got Apple TV and am so excited that I can watch anything from Netflix at any time! I watched The Cove, a documentary about dolphin hunting/killing in Japan. It was so very interesting and disturbing!

Do you think that high schoolers will read the Nelson Mandela Graphic biography? It sounds good but I'm never sure if the extra cost is worth it.

I quite enjoyed reading Shantaram.

Pussreboots--Wow! 24 years of a book diary, what a wonderful thing! I kept a regular diary for 20 years and then promptly stopped. It was really fun to go back and read them all.

Esme--Glad to hear you enjoyed Shantaram, I feel like we've got a long way to go

Anne--I hope they will (that's not a very good answer, is it?). I got it as a present so the library isn't going to be out any money. I'll try to put it front and center again when school begins and see what happens

I think it is great to list TV watched! It's turning out to be a regular habit of mine now.
