Throughout the month of November, bloggers Heather (Based on a True Story), Frances (Volatile Reader), Rebekah (She Seeks Nonfiction), and Deb (Reader Buzz) invite you to celebrate Nonfiction November with them.
Week 1: (October 27 to November 2) – Your Year in Nonfiction: Celebrate your year of nonfiction. What books have you read? What were your favorites? Have you had a favorite topic? Is there a topic you want to read about more? What are you hoping to get out of participating in Nonfiction November? (Heather)
I haven't participated in Nonfiction November since 2022 (yikes!), and that shows how little nonfiction I've been reading. I hoped to remedy that this year and read more, but I haven't been very good about it. I'm hoping that by participating this year, I'll read a bit more.
So far, in 2025, I've read the following 13 nonfiction books, which is much better than I thought I had done. I rated many of these 4.5/5 stars, but the ones that I would say are my favorites are: I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings; All Boys Aren't Blue; A Fever in the Heartland. But maybe that's because they are the most recent ones I've read. The images below link to my reviews.
