It's Monday! What are you reading?

This meme is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey

Books read last week:
  • Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter by Tom Franklin (read last week but posted for this week's tour). I have a give away going on this book that ends June 5.
  • Hangman by Faye Kellerman
  • Blindness by Jose Saramago (DNF, which I feel really bad about since so many seemed to like it. I had a difficult time with REALLY long paragraphs that contained conversations with no quotation marks)
Books currently reading:
  • Diamond Ruby by Joseph Wallace
  • Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts (the read-a-long begins Wednesday)
Books waiting in the wings:
  • Super Sad True Love Story by Gary Shteyngart
Read-a-long: Aths from Reading on a Rainy Day and I are hosting a summer read-a-long of Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts. Feel free to join us (we begin June 1) by going Reading on a Rainy day and signing up with the Mr Linky.

I just got my review of Diamond Ruby posted. I thought it was a great book.

This coming week is my last week off before summer session. I have a few books I want to finish before school begins. Come see what they are.

Super good (not sad) list. Blindness is on my list of books I can't believe I haven't read. This was my first time participating in this meme. It's been fun to see what people are reading.

Pussreboots--So far I am really enjoying Diamond Ruby! I'll go check out your review

Bibliophiliac--I am having issues with Blindness. I bet I'll be mad at myself tomorrow night when everyone in my book group tells me they loved it!

I'll be curious to see what you think of Super Sad True Love Story. I've been meaning to find time to read that one but obviously haven't yet. :)

Awww... I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy Blindness. I still didn't get to start it yet. But I'm still eager to give it a try.

Alyce--I heard an interview with the author and it sounded like a fun book

Aths--I still may try to get back to blindness especially if my book group members really like it
