Read-a-Thon: Hour 8 and nothing to show for it

Oh. My. Gosh. It is hour 8 of this fabulous read-a-thon and I have nothing to show for it! I have spent the morning at the Farmer's Market, walking the dog, and shuttling my daughter to karate and volleyball. One more obligation then the book reading can begin.

Actually, I am almost done with a graphic novel. Yes, a graphic novel. That's how little reading I am doing. I haven't even finished a graphic novel yet. Ugh. I better have some alone (reading) time this afternoon and evening!

You have lots of hours left for reading, and a graphic novel still counts! With two kids of my own, I can sure understand how these obligations can cut into reading time.

Once you get going, I'm sure you'll be on a roll!

Paulina, Stephanie, Jill--Thank you for the encouraging words. I am now home with only dog walking to interrupt my time :-)
