It's Monday, What Are You Reading?

This meme is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey

Books read last week:

Books currently reading:

  • Half of the Sky by Nicholas Kristoff and Sheryl WuDunn (I only read this as I go to bed so it is going slowly)
  • Party by Tom Leveen (this is set in the town where I live!)

Books waiting in the wings:

  • Ashes to Water (part of a blog tour)
  • Feed by Anderson
  • Perfect Shot by Rigaud

I'm definitely waiting to see what you think of Half of the Sky. I've seen a review once before and it looked good to me. The cover sure is amazing!

Gerbera Daisy--what is it about WWII fiction that sucks us all in? I love it too

Aths--Half the Sky is really interesting and good so far though I am only on about page 75. The issues they discuss (trafficking, poverty, education) are so important.

Jess and Alyssa--I enjoyed before i fall more than I thought I would

Laurel-Rain--I am slowly making my way through Half the Sky. During the day I really gravitate toward fiction so I reserve the non-fiction for night time, then I am tired so don't read as much.

I was debating between "Before I Fall" and "If I Stay" and went with "If I Stay", I hear they're similar but I'm not too sure.

RYC: After I hit my 10 books for last month I'm trying to convince myself I don't have to do it again... it's a struggle lol. But school does have to come first!

Also, ever since I got Netflix, my husband has been all over the instant play! He'll play video games and run a movie in the background. He's big on movies, I'd rather read a book lol.

Helen sometimes I pop over here and think you are my reading twin! You read a lot of the books I have, or that I want to.

I really enjoyed Before I Fall so next stop of course is your thoughts on it. :)

I just reserved I Am Nujood today at the library and Postmistress is on my TBR mountain.

I am not familiar with the two you have coming up but I suppose I should get familiar because no doubt I will want to read them :D

Have a super week Helen!

Marie--I so want to read If I Stay! I plan on checking it out from my school's library today when I go in.

Sheila--So much fun to have a reading "twin" out there. I am also that way with Aths over at Reading on a Rainy Day. That's one thing I love about the book blogosphere. Too bad we all live so far apart.

The Postmistress and Feed are both on my wishlist. I'm two days late in making the rounds. Here's what I'm reading this week.

Pussreboots--It's never to late to make the rounds! I checked out your impressive reading this for last week and this week! I just couldn't do the Dragon Tattoo books (talk about guilt).
