I was so distracted that I forgot to post last Sunday. And this Sunday so I'm a day late. The past two weeks have seemed to fly by with two great golf clinics (we got to play parts of holes on the course), trying to tire out Poppy both mentally and physically to cut down on the destructive chewing, visiting with my best friend in person, watching the newest Ted Lasso episodes over FaceTime with a friend, working, watching Reacher (so violent, but good), dance, one of my best friends from college was in town from the east coast (photo above), visits with my parents, and walks and happy hour with friends. All in all, a great two weeks. And work hasn't been too busy.
Poppy is growing by leaps and bounds, putting on almost 3 pounds in 3 weeks. Monday, she got her last Parvo vaccination, so on September 1, I will take her out for her first walk in the real world! My vet says Poppy and I look alike. It must be the unruly hair 🤣
