It's always nice to have a short work week, so thank you for Memorial Day, and those that sacrificed their lives. It ended up being a full week with golf, dance, and someone dear to me having a heart attack and then bypass surgery (they have come out of it ok, and fingers crossed that recovery goes well). I am their emergency contact, so I have been talking to the nurses, social workers, etc.

Last night I attended a 1920s-themed fundraiser for our local community college. I do love getting dressed up in costumes and seeing everyone else's as well.
