We had a heat wave this past week, which means it got up into the mid-90ss. For us (and me!), that's hot. And I played golf in it one afternoon, which was a bit much for me. I had a busy week with a couple of dinners out: friends on Sunday and a golf dinner on Tuesday. An out-of-town friend hung out with me on Sunday and we went to lunch and for a wonderful walk. I even went to a high tea with my mom at her retirement home, which was lovely. I also read, danced, napped (the heat!), and worked.
I am currently watching Shrinking, Bridgerton, and Call the Midwife, and they are all sooooo good! I also watched episodes of Leah Remini's documentary on Scientology. I am totally absorbed in it; it is so intriguing to learn more about this cult. Did you know they sign a billion-year contract when they join?
I am thinking about shaking up my workout routine and adding in swimming (hoping to start today). It feels daunting, but my development has a pool, so I don't have to go far.
