The Olympics are over, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching them over these past two weeks. It's so strange to see drones so close to the athletes as they compete. The next ones are in Los Angeles in 2028. I've entered the lottery to purchase tickets and hope I get something. I loved it when I got to attend the 1984 (Los Angeles) and 2012 (London) Olympics.
Tuesday and Wednesday, we did scholarship interviews for the alumni association. It's great to get to know the students and to hear of their plans and dreams. Thursday, my dance studio held its annual show. I was only in one group number, and it was fun, but I don't know if I need to do it again.
Last night I went to a local bar/restaurant and met up with about 15 people from my high school class. It was a funny mix of people, and it totally worked! We had such a great night of laughing and have agreed to do it again at the end of the summer.
I watched a delightful movie called Wine Country: a group of long-time friends on a girls' weekend. I really enjoyed it and even added the soundtrack to my Spotify library.
