Sunday Salon: June 22, 2025

I was out of town for Friday through Sunday last week, so I didn't post a Sunday Salon last week. My flight home from Dallas took me 24 hours. So not fun, but getting off the plane in Santa Barbara always feels and smells so wonderful.

On Monday, the dance world lost a legend who was far too young. Dave Scott was one of my daughter's favorite choreographers to work with, and he was such a nice guy. He was funny, kind, and very supportive of the young dancers!

Tuesday, we took my niece to the local Natural History Museum for the Butterfly Pavilion. I do love this experience when I go. It's beautiful, calming, and I find I have a smile on my face the whole time. This year, the butterflies are stunning and from Costa Rica.

Saturday, I hit the farmer's market, walked with a friend, and had lunch/spent the afternoon with two friends.  Today I am helping my parents with more moving tasks and having dinner with a friend. What a lovely way to spend a beautiful sunny weekend!
