2023 Reading Challenges Wrap Up

2023 was a pretty good year for me regarding reading challenges. I didnt' take on too many and I didn't get obsessed with finishing them (obviously). Here is the link to my 2023 Challenges Page where you can see which books counted for the various challenges

My wrap-up for all my reading challenges is below:

Alphabet Soup: Author Edition Reading Challenge with Lori at Escape with Dollycas into a Good Book. I completed this challenge, reading books that had author last names starting with all 26 letters of the alphabet! ✅

Alphabet Soup: Title Edition Reading Challenge with Lori at Escape with Dollycas into a Good Book. I was super close to completing this challenge, reading books that had Titles starting with all 24 letters of the alphabet; I did not get X or Z.

Literary Escapes Reading Challenge, with Lori at Escape with Dollycas into a Good Book. I did not complete this challenge, I never do. I read books set in 35 states (4 fewer than 2022). However, I did read books set in 39 countries so that's pretty cool even though it is 7 fewer than last year. To see where I read, check out my 2023 Google Reading Map. I am going to give myself a checkmark for the outside the US locations ✅

Nonfiction Reader Challenge with Shelleyrae at Book'd Out. I completed this challenge since my goal was to read 6/12 of her categories and I read 12/12 with 18 total nonfiction books. ✅

Bookish Books Reading Challenge with Susan at Bloggin' 'Bout Books. This challenge didn't have a number requirement; the idea is to read books about books, libraries, etc. and I read 14! ✅

Big Book Summer Challenge with Sue at Book by Book. The goal is to read at least one book that is 400+ pages from Memorial Day to Labor Day and I read 7! ✅

RIP XVII Challenge) didn't go super well for me. I had the best of intentions and read 3 books before my new job and visit to NY got in the way of all October reading. So, yes, I completed the challenge, but didn't do a ton. ✅

Popsugar Reading Challenge with Tara at Popsugar. I completed this challenge including the "Advanced" section. ✅

How did you do with your reading challenges this year?
