It has been hot here. And I say that knowing that it has been much hotter in many places outside Santa Barbara. I have been glad for the AC in my new home. We did get a tiny bit of rain on Friday night so my Saturday walk along the coast was cloudy but humid (see photo above).
This past week I've had a couple things upgraded in my new place: water softener and reverse osmosis installed; the shower heads changed to hand-helds on a vertical bar (they were set for people who are WAY taller than I am); pull outs put in the lower kitchen cabinets. It feels good to get these things done.
I do love getting my Book of the Month club emails and books each month (or not in the months I pass). This month I got the above gift, which made me happy. Do you belong to Book of the Month or another service? What do you think?
