Sheila at Book Journey is hosting First Book of the Year again. It's a fun activity where we each submit a photo of us with the first book we are going to read for the year. The hope is that we pick a first book that sets a positive reading tone for the year.
Your First Book should be:
A. A coveted book that you have wanted to read but have just not found the time.
B. A delicious favorite… one you have read before, but crave to read again.
C. Really whatever you want it to – it is after all YOUR First Book of the year.

For 2022 I have decided my first read is going to be The Sweetness of Water by Natan Harris because I want to start the year off right with something deep, historical, adult, and highly recommended.
