Sunday Salon: June 13, 2021

Deb Nance at Readerbuzz hosts The Sunday Salon.

This was my last week of work and now I am officially on summer vacation! I ran professional development sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for social studies teachers in our district and they went really well. After more than a year of not seeing groups of teachers together, it was so great to see so many colleagues in person! The image above shows the sign the door of the classroom that I used for teachers to choose how to greet me each day. It was fun when they chose something not on the list: foot taps, high fives, elbow and hip bumps, and dancing.

Even though it's summer, I have a few meetings coming up. But, I have time to go for walks with friends, read, and (I hope) sleep in a bit.

A friend has started a company called Pet Stones so I had her make me a stone to remember our dog who died a couple years ago. The stone makes me happy.

So, Feedburner is going away and I am trying to figure out a new service for those who get my blog posts via email. I am thinking of using Follow.it, does anyone have any experience with them as a user or subscriber?
