Did you like Little Bee? It was touted as the next Kite Runner but I didn't think the book was all that.

Anne--Welcome to my blog and thank you for following! I'll go check out yours right now. I don't know if Little Bee is the next Kite Runner, but I really liked it. I think it will expose some people to issues they had never considered, which is a really good thing.
Woohoo, already finished one of the books on your list! That's fabulous :-) I also have the Muslim Women Reformers book and hope to read it this year, though I don't know when...
Aarti--The Muslim Women Reformers is dense. I am about 100 pages in and it is A LOT of information!
I like your list. The only book I've read on it was Little Bee (which I found to be just so-so...but, hey, that could be me).
