It's Monday! What are you reading?

This meme is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey

Books read last week:
O.M.G I didn't finish a single book this week. That's what happens when I am out every night at meetings, book group, etc.

Books currently reading:
  • First Kill Your Family: Child Soldiers of Uganda and the Lord's Resistance Army by Peter Eichstadt (I am SUPER close to finishing this)

Books waiting in the wings:
  • I am a Taxi by Deborah Ellis (this will complete my Global Reading Challenge, my last challenge of 2010!)

Tis the season... expectations should be lower for December (for all aspects of life). I listened to a book last week and hope to finish the book I started yesterday by tomorrow (it's only 200 pages and I'm over 100 in so I should be able to finish).

Have a wonderful week!

Yes, downsizing our expectations is a good thing this month. I only added one new book to read.

Here's my Monday:

Wow, your current read seems like it'd be a rough one. How is it?

I'm surprised that I managed to finish anything last week. I'm not reading much right now because I was working on my papers.

Mari, Laurel-Rain--You're right; December should be a month where we allow ourselves a little slack on the reading since we're all so busy with the Holidays.

Lydia--Parts of this book were really intense but I am glad I read it

Pussreboots--Bummer that school and work get in the way of reading, isn't it? Guess that's life!

Seems like these days I never get as much reading done as I hope to.... enjoy the season Helen! :)
