The Investment Answer: Learn to manage your money and protect your financial future by Daniel C. Goldie and Gordon S. Murray was given to me by my dad for Christmas. Investing and economics in general is one of my weak spots. Honestly, I just don't care enough about it. I want to have good investments, I want to save enough to retire, but I want it to just happen and I don't really want to think about it. So, this book should be perfect for me. It's only 81 pages long and is aimed at making the whole process simple and understandable.

"The unfortunate truth when it comes to investing is that many of us are scared and don't know where to start. Wall Street feels like a casino with the odds stacked against us.... All you have to do is make five informed decisions."

Ok, I cheated. I chose a few lines from the beginning of the book that I really liked. They aren't the actual first lines of the book, but it's New Year's Eve day and I felt like bending the rules so I did.

It doesn't seem like a dry financial book. It's short too. Eighty-one pages is good for a finance book.

Hmm, this one does sound simple enough for those of us who are "investment challenged" - LOL.

Thanks for sharing.

Tea--You're right; it's too short to be dry. I found it very useful.

Laurel-Rain--I am definitely investment challenges and I found this book to be right on target with my interest level
