Sunday Salon: Bloggiesta style

Work:
Even though school officially ended last week I work 5 extra days since I am a teacher librarian. The 7 secondary teacher librarians had 2 days of professional development, which I led. It was really fun (if I do say so myself); we did web 2.0 stuff (wikis, blogs, how to use html, etc). I also went in to work for partial days the other 3 days of the week. Boy was it quiet!

Family:
I really enjoyed being able to take my daughter to school each day this past week since my school year was over a week before hers! I miss being a part of her school day. I also got to attend her end-of-the-year party with all the kids in her grade, which was really fun since I got to hang out with the other parents!

My daughter and I leave tonight on our vacation for 2 weeks so I will be reading and posting less often. We're headed to England and France and will do a little seeing of family (my aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and brother's family are in England), but we are mostly being tourists and doing things/going places that I haven't done before or haven't done in a long time! I am really excited for a break

Reading/Books:
I have done hardly any reading this weekend since I've been doing trip prep and Bloggiesta activities. I really do feel good about the business cards that I created and making the move to the personal domain. The other projects that had hoped to do (mapping my books, planning a Middle Eastern reading challenge) will just have to wait until I get back from my trip.

Gerbera Daisy--Just waiting to catch the "Airbus" down to Los Angeles and we're on our way...I hate the waiting

Linda--Oh now I have pressure to create a challenge! That's good to know someone is interested, thank you!

Glad you got to do some Bloggiesta stuff - URL and email customizations. I didn't get any reading done either. Have a great vacation!
