Hope you and your daughter are enjoying Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry. It is one of my favorite books and I have also read the other three books in the series. I really wish Taylor would write another one covering that begins where Road to Memphis stopped.

Jan--I didn't even know this was part of a series! We are definitely liking it so far and the voice of the narrator (whose name escapes me right now and the tapes are in the car) is really good. The only problem is that our only cassette player is in the car so we aren't getting to listen to it often enough!
