January 2010 Wrap-up

I've never done a wrap-up post before, but I really like other bloggers' monthly reviews since I often see something I missed during the month. So here goes...

Graphic novels read and reviewed (all count for the Graphic Novel challenge):

Books read and reviewed:

Books I couldn't finish:
  • Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Books I hope to read in February:
  • Thaw
  • Kids with Courage (non-fiction)
  • Monique and the Mango Rains: Two years with a midwife in Mali
  • Citizen Vince
  • Hate List
  • Women Who Won the War
  • Dairy Queen

I love doing In Review posts. Helps me keep track of the books I'm reading.

I use Windows Movie Maker to do my IMM posts. It's a free program if you have Windows already I believe.

I love wrap-up posts like this!

I struggled with The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo too, so you're not alone in disliking it.

You've read an impressive number of graphic novels. I really should read a few more, as I have enjoyed many of the ones I've read. I look forward to seeing what you read in Feb!

I enjoyed your wrap up post, and although I am not familiar with any of the books, it looks like you had a great month! Thanks 4 sharing!

Kristen, I have a PC at work and Mac at home so I realize I could use either Windows Movie Maker on my lunch break or iMovie at home. Thanks for the tip!

Farmlane, thank goodness there is someone else out there who didn't love "Girl". One friend told me she got into it on page 250! I just don't have that patience.

Diane, I read so much YA that I think many bloggers don't know the books, but that's fun
