This week was a full one including a walk with a friend, a local screening of the documentary Chuck Berry: Hail, Hail, Rock and Roll, dinner with my parents and friends we've known since I was only a few months old (their dad brought my family to Santa Barbara when he hired my dad at the university), a golf clinic and lesson, multiple dance classes, my in-person book group where we (they) talked about the new Ian McEwan (only 2 people finished it), and a couple meals with friends.
Friday, the Winter Olympics started! I LOVE the Olympics, so I may not get much reading done in the next few weeks. I also finished binge-watching The Closer. Next I will move on to the new seasons of Bridgerton, Shrinking, and The Lincoln Lawyer, probably all after the Olympics are over. I've watched the Open Ceremonies, curling (why is this so fascinating?!), speed skating (one of my favorites to watch), and ski jumping (did you hear about the Norweigen scandal?!) so far.
And today. I will not watch the Super Bowl, but instead will participate in the The Big Game's On Read-A-Thon. I do, however, plan on watching the halftime show to support Bad Bunny.
