- One Day, Everyone Will Have Always Been Against This by Omar El Akkad
The fever is (finally) gone, but the nasty cough lingers. Not a surprise. I do hope that you are able to avoid this awful grunge. I haven't been that sick in many years.
My daughter left on Thursday, so the house seems very quiet. It was wonderful to have her visit, and she was amazing when I was sick. She and I watched a couple of old movies, which was fun. I hadn't seen either of them for decades!
And I worked my way through the Lincoln Lawyer. I highly recommend the series. Friday night, I treated myself to one of my all-time favorite movies: This is Spinal Tap. The cast is so talented: they are part of the same group that did Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, and Waiting for Guffman.
I was back at dance Friday and Saturday; it felt good to be out of the house and moving, though I am definitely still low energy. I hosted a game night last night, which ended up just being a dinner with no games since one of the people cancelled. It was still a fun evening.
