- The Impossible Fortune by Richard Osman
Last Sunday was jam-packed: a morning walk, a holiday brunch with my alumni board, a tree trimming party with my parents, and a "girls" holiday party in the evening. Whew! The holiday party included a white elephant gift exchange, and I came away with a bottle of pretty nail polish and a gift certificate for a mani/pedicure. Very nice.
Monday was a golf clinic and book club, where we discussed The Year of Living Biblically and did a white elephant gift exchange. I came home with a pretty tote bag and a pencil set (I am one of those pepole who likes pens, pencils, stationary, etc). Tuesday, I played golf, and Friday, I helped my parents get their Christmas tree, and we had dinner together.
I recently learned that my blog has an "insecure site" rating, and Shelleyrae at Book'd Out gave me links to work on fixing it. I hope to get to that soon!
