My Thanksgiving was a quiet start to a four-day holiday for me. I was really looking forward to sleeping in a little, going for walks, reading, and more reading. Mission accomplished.
Thursday morning, a friend and I went for a walk (photo above), during the day I watched the Amazing Race and read. In the evening, my parents came over for our first non-traditional Thanksgiving dinner: Indian food. And it was delicious. Then we watched an episode of BritBox's Shakespeare and Hathaway.
Friday, I hit the gym, took a solo walk, and watched Shall We Dance (Apple TV), which brought me joy, and The Great Escaper (PBS), which I also really enjoyed (though this one made me cry).
Saturday, I walked with another friend (photo above) after going to the Farmer's Market. I hit the downtown library to see if I could find some children's books to finish my alphabet challenges (I found some, but not all, and I read of bunch of extra books because I was enjoying myself), and our local game shop, which was having its grand reopening in a larger space. I bought the game The Sound Game (like charades, but with only sounds and no-hands body gestures).
