Last Sunday was quiet, with a walk, time at the gym, an executive board meeting, and plenty of time at home to read and watch episodes of my most recent show, Shrinking (I finished it mid-week and highly recommend it). I also watched the movie of the Thursday Murder Club and thoroughly enjoyed it. I do hope they make movies of the other books in the series.
During the week I went to a golf clinic, took a couple of dance lessons, I had a board meeting, and dinner with my best friend, her mom, and my parents. Yesterday, I attended 2 dance master classes (and they served tacos! Win-win). I've taken on doing the newsletter for one of my boards, so that has kept me extra busy this past week (and, yes, I gave up chairing one of the committees to do it, so I feel good that I at least exchanged duties and didn't add an extra one).
Today I am taking my parents to Casa de la Guerra (one of the older adobe buildings in our town) to an exhibit called "Telling Stories of Mexican California: Real Life & Myth Making."
