60 years old. How the heck did that happen?! Today is my actual birthday, and it's a low-key day, but tonight I'll have dinner with my parents.
One of my best friends and I share a birthday (and so many other life parallels that we've always referred to one another as kin-twins). She is battling terminal cancer, so I have given this weekend's celebrations over to her. She had a party yesterday that was really fun with her relatives (from the UK and various US southern states), and locals all coming together, along with some of our nearest and dearest friends, to celebrate her. I will have a party next month.
I didn't get much reading done this week, but I absolutely loved the book shown above. Have you read it?
