Sunday Salon: January 7, 2024

Deb Nance at Readerbuzz hosts The Sunday Salon.

I do hope you all had a safe New Year's Eve and that 2024 is filled with love, laughter, family, friends, and wonderful books. I attended our local symphony's New Year's Eve bash with friends; it was a lovely way to ring in the new year with friends, fun music ( Beatles, Motown, Cyndi Lauper, Pink Floyd, Beethoven, Debussey, and more) and festivities.

New year's day and on the 2nd I went for walks with friends I haven't seen in a while so it was great to catch up on our lives.

This week it's been back to work with a very busy schedule (except all 5 of my meetings on the 2nd were either cancelled at the last minute or no-shows!). My daughter came home Wednesday night after being away for almost a week and it's lovely to have her back in the house since she goes back to NY in a couple weeks. Unfortuanately, she has been sick so it's been low key around here.

I got the latest Covid vaccination yesterday and my arm is soooo sore. But, so far I have no other reaction/response so that's good. I also wanted to get the RSV vaccination, but they say I can't get it because I am younger than 60. Hmmmm.

I am off to a good pace of reading for the new year and it feels good. So far they have all been really good reads!

Here is is the current state of my 2024 challenges
