Deb Nance at Readerbuzz hosts The Sunday Salon.
- Stalker Stalked by Lee Matthew Goldberg
- The Heart Principle by Helen Hoang
This was a busy week in which I attended a 2-day training, led workshops, subbed at a local high school (we are woefully short on subs so I get pulled when a school has no one else), and ran two Board meetings. Whew!
I went crazy at my local indie bookstore, and got 5 (!) mysteries/thrillers that I hope to read for the RIP challenge over the next 6 weeks.
I finally gave in and subscribed to Apple TV+ (only $5/month). I have already started watching The Morning Show and Ted Lasso, both of which I am really enjoying. Have you watched either of these shows? What do you think?
I know we all have our favorite local/indie bookstore, but I was reminded this week about First Book, which is a non-profit social enterprise committed to elevating educational opportunities for children in need. They believe that educators should have access to all the books they need to help these children succeed. When you buy from the First Book Marketplace, your purchase helps others who are also making a difference in the lives of children. They make it really easy to find books in any equity category: religion, ethnicity, issue, LGBTQ, etc. The books range from pre-school to high school.
Here's my challenge update. The image is a link to my challenge page.
