Every year I see bloggers posting about the RIP Challenge and I think, I am so not into reading horror books, but I am glad they are all enjoying themselves. Well, I finally bothered to read the description of the RIP Challenge. I am an idiot.
Readers Imbibing Peril (@perilreaders on Twitter and Instagram) is in its 16th year and encourages readers to read from the following genres (take note, not just horror!) from September 1 through October 31, 2021.

- Suspense
- Thriller
- Dark fantasy
- Gothic
- Horror
- Supernatural
Well, mysteries and thrillers are right up my alley so I am all in this year. I am not sure what I'll read in October, but for September I've got Razorblade Tears by S.A. Cosby.
