Sunday Salon: February 7, 2021

Deb Nance at Readerbuzz runs The Sunday Salon.

We have had the most beautiful weather here in southern California: perfect bright blue skies with no clouds. I try to sit outside for about half an hour each day as I take my lunch break and it's been glorious. Yesterday my dad, daughter and I took a walk along the bluffs just south of town to go to the seal sanctuary and it felt good to be in a different environment that just walking in our neighborhood. (please note, we wore masks the entire time except when I took this photo and no one else was around).

We've also had amazing winter sunsets (photo credit to my daughter as I drove us along the beach on Friday evening). My daughter heads back to snowy NY on Tuesday so we're trying to fit in all her favorite things before she leaves: sunset drives, her favorite coffee shops, long walks, and last night we finished our Harry Potter movie marathon.

I've got nothing special for this part of my Sunday Salon this week except to say I've been good about sticking to my February reading plan so far. I know, it's only one week in, but that's still good!
