My life outside books:

A friend sent me this "COVID bookshelf" that she found online. People are so clever! You may need to click on the image to make it better and readable.

Well, I managed to read 2 books this week, even if one of them was a graphic novel. We've had wonderful weather here this past couple of weeks so when I am not working/on Zoom meetings, I am trying to spend time outdoors either chatting with family or going for neighborhood walks, which means I am reading less.

I have a vent. I hate dealing with having to return things I bought online. Last week we ordered a new umbrella stand (boy those things aren't cheap) and it showed up Friday and was broken into 7 pieces. The thing weighs 75 pounds so I did NOT carrying it to the post office. Turns out Wayfair said we could just throw it away and they'll send us another one!

So, I was on the news tonight! I am the vice president (about to be president) of my high school's alumni association and we give over $200,000 in college scholarships each year. I thought it would be a good and positive story for the local news given everything that's going on.
