Dewey's Reverse Readathon, August 2019

I am participating in the Dewey 24 Hour Reverse Readathon. As usual, life is getting in the way of total participation, but I've done well so far.
I am late with this first entry (ok, about 12 hours late), but here's the basics:
1)What fine part of the world are you reading from today? And what time is it where you are?
I am reading in Santa Barbara, California, USA and it is 9:00am Saturday.
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
I hoped to finish Katherine Center's Things to Save in a Fire and one other, but i am not sure what that will be yet.
3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?
I'd like chocolate chip cookies, but I didn't plan ahead so it will probably be Greek yogurt instead. Somehow, not a good substitute.
4) Do you have a #reversereadathon plan of attack?
No plan, just read as much as I can in and around family activities.
5) Are you doing the readathon solo or with others?
All on my lonesome.

============================

Update: I did indeed finish Things You Save in a Fire by Katherine Center before going to be last night!
