Dewey's 24-Hour Read-a-thon 2019

I cant' believe we're already doing the spring Dewey 24-Hour Read-a-thon! That means the year is going quickly for me.

Opening Survey
1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today? Santa Barbara, CA
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to? Let's Go Swimming on Doomsday by Natalie C. Anderson (she wrote City of Saints and Thieves

3) Which snack are you most looking forward to? Trader Joe's Salt and Pepper chips
4) Tell us a little something about yourself! My dog Charlie will be by my side all day, I'm sure. He's getting old and just wants to be near his mama. I am a teachers, was a librarian, and am currently an empty-nester.
5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to? I never read as much as I hope during read-a-thons. Life gets in the way. For example, it's already 8:30 and I haven't begun reading yet.
