My life in books: 

I have brought home three books from school to read over the break: The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer byMichelle Hodkin, Never Fall Down by Patricia McCormick, and Zero by Tom Leveen.

What's going on in my life:

My brother and his extended family have arrived from around the world (a nephew from China and another from Los Angeles, a brother in law from Vietnam, others from the East Coast and his immediate family from England) so it's really starting to feel like Christmas! My daughter now has cousins to play with and they are having a great time.

This morning's activity was making a gingerbread house, which didn't end up looking all that great. :-0

Tomorrow will be filled with stockings, presents, Belgian waffles, and a beach walk!
