I met Nina LaCour at an author event a couple months ago and enjoyed The Disenchantments so I thought I'd read this one as well.

"I watch drops of water fall from the ends of my hair. They streak down my towel, puddle on the sofa cushion. My heart pounds so hard I can feel it in my ears."

I began this book during the school year, but got interrupted so I am looking forward to finishing it.
