What's going on in my personal life:
This week went by so quickly! My daughter was a WOLF Camp (Wilderness, Outdoor, something) up by Lake Cachuma all week with her 6th grade class. It was her first time away from home and she did really well. Lots of hiking, science, ropes course (zip line, etc). I remember going when I was her age!

And today is Easter. We're not big celebrators of the holiday, but I do hide a basket of goodies for my daughter and she has to follow clues to find it, which is fun.

What's going on in my library at work:
In addition to starting a new term (read textbook distribution) and teaching a bunch of classes, we had our fourth annual Poetry Slam. The students did well this year and the winner really mastered the cadence and style of a slam.

What's going on with my reading:
I feel like I haven't been doing much reading lately and that my books definitely aren't covering the many challenges that I've taken on. I think I need to take stock and organize myself a little bit.

Exciting news: I just learned that Warner Brothers Studio outside London where they filmed the Harry Potter movies is now open for tours! I am going to book one for this summer while we're there. I can hardly stand the excitement!
