Family and Life:
I was pleased to see three women win the Nobel Peace Prize: Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, activist Leymah Gbowee of Liberia, and rights activist Tawakkul Karman of Yemen shared the prize for their "nonviolent struggle for the safety of women and for women's rights to full participation in peace-building work."

Yesterday we got up at 5:30am (yes, on a Saturday), drove a couple minutes to the local bird refuge and watched the full lunar eclipse. Pretty awesome!

My daughter went to her first junior high dance Friday night. I was really proud of her since she wasn't sure if she would know people there or not. She is only in 6th grade, but one of the local private schools has a dance and invites 6th graders (yes, they are recruiting, and no, she's not going).
Mollee Gray
Saturday we Christmas shopped a bit and headed to Westlake (an hour south) for my daughter to attend a dance class at another studio. She LOVED the class! Today we're going back down so she can take a master class given by Mollee Gray from So You Think You Can Dance.

Work:
One more week until Winter Vacation! We've decorated the Library with twinkle lights and paper snowflakes so we're feeling really festive.

Books and Reading:
I had a better reading week this week, finishing three books instead of just one like I did last week. I have high hopes for the Winter holiday and hope that I can finish a few books before the end of the year. I'm having a tough time with Bumped, it's feeling repetitive, can anyone encourage me to continue reading?
