Family and Life:
Another frantic quick week with my parents out of town, but we're doing alright. I am going in to work late every other day so that I can drive my daughter to school and that is really helping the stress level. Her Birthday is coming up next Saturday so we're planning for that, which is fun.

Work:
I am trying to work out a way to get rid of our computer servers and just have the labs and library have "internet stations" for the students so that they don't have to log in to use the computers. A log in is just so frustrating so much of the time. This means getting every student a gmail account so they can use Google Docs and not have to save to our servers. It may be an uphill battle....

Books and Reading:
Planned Parenthood in our region (3 counties) holds a gigantic 10-day booksale every year so I went yesterday and bought REALLY CHEAP books for my school's library. I spent only $26 and came away with a large bag full of hard back books. They are mostly to beef up multiple copies of books we already have that are popular.

Oh, and I've signed up to participate in the Dewey 24-Hour Read-a-Thon again. I never end up reading as much as I want to, but I really enjoy this event. It's taking place October 22 and I hope you'll join us!
