Women Unbound Challenge: Completed

I loved this challenge! It's the first challenge I joined when I started my blog almost a year ago and I have enjoyed every book that I read for it. It is definitely a challenge I would/will sign up for again.

I signed up to do the suffragette level, which was to read 8 books, 3 of which are non-fiction. Instead I've listed 23 books that fit the challenge, 13 of which were non-fiction. More of the books I've read in the last year might have counted for this challenge, but these are the ones I remembered to list. As I look through the list I realize these are some of my all time favorite books from this past year.
  1. Murder in the Name of Honor, by Rana Hussein
  2. Persepolis, by Marjane Satrapi (graphic novel)
  3. Monique and the Mango Rains by Kris Holloway
  4. Persepolis 2 by Marjane Satrapi
  5. Wandering Girl by Glenyse Ward
  6. Letter to My Daughter by Maya Angelou
  7. If Love Hurts edited by Pam van der Heide
  8. Keeping Corner by Kashmira Sheth
  9. The Writing on My Forehead by Nafisa Haji
  10. Body Drama by Nancy Redd
  11. You'd be prettier if... by Dara Chadwick
  12. The Help by Kathryn Stockett
  13. Stones into Schools by Greg Mortenson
  14. Sold by Patricia McCormick
  15. The Blue Notebook by James A. Levine
  16. Between Two Worlds by Zainab Salbi
  17. Climbing the Stairs by Padma Venkatraman
  18. Mare's War by Tanita S. Davis
  19. Creating a World Without Poverty by Muhammad Yunus
  20. I am Nujood, Age 10 and Divorced by Nujood Ali
  21. Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide by Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn

Aths and Stephanie--This challenge seemed so easy to read for; all the books were very interesting. Some were heart breaking, of course.
