Street art in the Library!

The street art/graffiti in my library is done. I am so excited! It has improved a dark and dingy corner and made it into an interesting and vibrant area. It also brought in a new set of kids to the library, which is always a good thing!

Wow! This is so cool. I attended a workshop on improving the library looks yesterday. They showed us something similar for a teen area, that brought in more teens. I'd love to be able to do something like this in my library!!

Martha, Suko, Emily, Reedreads, Aths--Thank you for your support! The students seem to like it; it is bright and fun (though one student did ask about the "scribbles", but he isn't a very positive person in general). I didn't ask for permission so am glad it is going over well.
