Read-a-Thon (mini-challenge)

6:14am and I am taking a break to do the first mini-challenge, hosted by Miss Remmers: how I've set up for the mini-challenge.

For the last Dewey read-a-thon, my first, I was totally set up with a stack of books, snacks, and warnings to my family to give me time and space. This time around I am a little less obsessive since I've done it before. Here's my general plan:

  • I'm going to try to eat normally since last time I ate WAY too much junk food
  • The family has plans for much of the day, which leaves me to read, post, and take care of the dog
  • I plan on getting up from my reading spot at least once an hour this time as well. I'll probably take a break to read the Dewey site, do a mini-challenge, but then to also get up and moving!
  • I am reading in bed at this point and am 80 pages into Gym Candy by Carl Deuker (I erroneously said I was reading Out of the Pocket by Konigsberg, which is in my TBR pile still).
