I'm secretly upset that no one has reviewed The Kite Runner and A Thounsand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini yet!! Maybe I'll do it if I feel like I can do the books justice with my words!

No one has posted reviews of these fantastic books since Afghanistan isn't really in the Middle East, it's in Central Asia. The characters are Muslim, but not Arab and those were the parameters of my challenge. That said, I LOVE these two books and try to get people to read them all the time :-)
