Family and Life:
I haven't done a Sunday Salon for a couple weeks since I felt like I was posting so much with the end of December, the end of the year, and the holidays. It's been a busy couple of weeks with lots of dancing and rehearsals for Hairspray (for my daughter, not me). I feel like I've read quite a bit and worked at getting back into the routine of work and life after an extremely relaxing holiday.
Work:
I had a good week back after the holidays with one day devoted to training half the staff on Google Docs, which went well. I am also working to get money so that I can attend the CUE (Computer Using Educators) Conference.
Books and Reading:
I went book shopping yesterday for my school and got a good stack of books. Of course, I plan to read a few of them before they hit the shelves of my school library. At the same time I bought a copy of The Phantom Tollbooth for my daughter.
Did you read Phantom Tollbooth? What are your memories of it? I remember liking it and all the puns, though that isn't quite the right word for it.

The end of the year stuffed wiped me out. I've been reading, but very casually and blogging doesn't appear to be a priority at the moment. As you know, the whether has been so darn nice but it's totally thrown me off. I was "spring" cleaning last week and now I am just tired.
ReplyDeleteMy son read Phantom Tollbooth years ago. He is the non-reader but he liked it.
