Saturday Snapshot--May 14, 2011

Last weekend was super windy, but we headed to the beach for a Mother's Day walk anyway.
  
The ocean was just too tempting for my daughter and she was in a fun mood as well!

    Irene, Diane, Sherri, Angie, Alyce, Col, Mostraum--Mother's Day was fairly nice, but when we got home we discovered TONS of tar on our feet and shoes so I spent 45 minutes getting it all off :-)

    Love the ocean! I'd have spent my day there as well, but my daughter signed us both up for a Mother's Day 5K. I enjoyed it though, and plan to do more.

    Something about her in this picture makes her look a lot like you. Okay, I know I've never seen either of you in person, but from photos I've seen, this one looks a bit like you. It looks like you two had fun.

    Leslie--I must confess I didn't go in the water, but I'm sure it was cold! Then the wind hit her salty legs!

    Faith--See, we sauntered on the beach while you worked out, good for you!

    When my identical twin daughters were about four years old, I showed them an 8x10 black-and-white photo of me at that age and asked, "Who is this?" Each one insisted it was a picture of her! That's how much my girls looked like me.
