Saturday Snapshot--March 19, 2011

To participate in Saturday Snapshot meme post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken. Photos can be old or new, and can be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Our garden is all abloom with spring flowers and I couldn't resist the bearded irises in my front yard.

    Bearded Irises were one of my mom's favorite flowers. This image looks more like the Siberian Iris variety we have at our other home.

    Only one of our irises has bloomed, but it is just so stunning that I couldn't resist taking a photo. Irisis (along with daffodils) are my favorite flowers!
