It's Monday! What are you reading?

This meme is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey

Books read last week: How did I only finish one book this week? I thought I'd have tons of free time this weekend, but it was not meant to be...
Books currently reading:
  • Fasting, Feasting by Anita Desai (PoC, Reading from my Shelves, Awesome Author challenges)
  • Fade to Blue by Bill Moody (Suspense/Mystery Challenge)
Books waiting in the wings:
  • Hush by Chayil
  • Born Under a Million Shadows by Andrea B (Awesome Authors, What's in a Name, Reading from my Shelves, PoC challenges)
Books I bought: I went to Chaucer's to buy books for school, but got tempted by books for me as well

  1. Reading Poisioner's Handbook by Blum. I don't read much non fiction but this is very good.

Hello Kitty Must Die and Dark Goddess are up next.

  5. I had that same type of weekend - I thought it was going to be reading utopia but no... its amazing how I can fill up my time with a project here, a meeting there.... gah!

  6. I started SHANTARAM four or five years ago, and it's still on my shelf. It didn't grab me, and it's so loo-o-o-oooong! Maybe if I joined you and Aths this summer, I would have a reason to try again. May I? Or do you have something already worked out?

  7. I need to get Split since it won the Cybils this year for YA and I have yet to read it. Going to check out your review. Have a great week!

  8. Jennifer--Radio Shangri-La sounds so interesting and is about a country that I don't know much about, always a plus with me

Sheila--How does that happen? I could have sworn having my daughter doing shows all weekend would give me time. Instead I was driving all over the place, etc

Pussreboots--K-3 books sound pretty good to me right now!

Bonnie--I'll let you know when we've set up a reading schedule. I thought it would help to read a set amount each week and to have someone else to spur me on

Jan--Enjoy Split, it is really good. The more I think about it the higher I want to rate it
