Family and Life:
This week was a bit crazy: my mom was out of the country visiting my brother and his family so I was on extra dog-duty (and dog-doodie, if you know what I mean); my daughter had the flu; I had a strange work schedule; dance/rehearsals didn't stop; and I had book group. I love getting together with my book groups! All women, a variety of ages, wonderful people, great conversations, oh and some book talk. :-)
I also signed up to be the chaperone backstage at the Wizard of Oz show that my daughter is in on Feb 21st. So instead of paying $70 for a ticket to watch the show, I'll be hanging out backstage (where they promise I can see the show for free)
Work:
Work this week was good, but I worked only a half day Monday (due to daughter's flu), not on Wednesday (my usual day off this year) and then Friday was a holiday. Kinda' crazy!
Books and Reading:
I've got two give aways going on right now, both of which are international:
- Today is the last day to enter for a chance to win a copy of Anjali Banerjee's Haunting Jasmine, check out the review and/or the interview and give away.
- Click on the link to enter a chance to win a copy of Diary of a Beverly Hills Matchmaker by Marla Martenson. This one ends Friday, February 25.
Looks like the bug called 'busy week' is going around. I was swamped! I just had a moment to peek up to write my Friday post and got pulled back under. I hope you have a better week ahead! Also, hope your daughter's feeling better!
ReplyDeleteAths--My daughter is definitely better (whew!), thank you for the well-wishes. Our busy weeks will last us through the start of March when 2 of her shows will be over
ReplyDeleteI love theater and wish your daughter all the best on her upcoming performance. That's great you can work behind the scene too.
ReplyDeleteAloha from Rob
Rob--the theater is turning out to be very fun. I hope she enjoys it on the night of the show when she has the fancy mic taped to her face!
