Saturday Snapshot--February 19, 2011

To participate in Saturday Snapshot meme post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken. Photos can be old or new, and can be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. All Alyce asks is that you don't post random photos that you find online.


This is our miniature poodle, Charlie, whom we rescued about two and a half years ago. With a rescue you never know what you're getting yourself into, but Charlie is a dream: hardly barks, is intelligent, loves kids and just wants to be with people. He got hurt recently, but is now back in action so I thought I let today be about him.

    There's a rescue poodle in our neighborhood named Charlie too! Your Charlie is beautiful!

    Margaret, Angie, Sheila--Charlie is very happy and brings joy to all of us (despite all the work involved in having a dog!)

    Laurel-Rain--I love the sparkling water as well

    Burmuda--That's funny, there is a Charlie in our neighborhood who is a white poodle mix. We obviously weren't very original in our name choice!

    Alyce--He does look like he posed, but in reality he always turns away when I point the camera at him, but this time it worked!

    Aths--I only got a dog because we share a house with my parents and they are retired. But, if you have an outside area where the dog can go during the day they really are wonderful companions. And, poodles have hair, not fur so they don't shed
