Books in the mail!

I don't usually get books in the mail so imagine my surprise when I got three this week!

During Ramadan Carina at Reading Through Life did a whole month of reading books about Islam, Muslims and the Middle East. I won a copy of The Ayatollah Begs to Differ: the paradox of modern Iran by Hooman Majd.

Stacey Barney over at Penguin Young Readers Group sent me two books: The Trouble with Half a Moon by Danette Vigilante (to be released January 2011) and Sparrow Road by Sheila O'Connor (to be released May 2011).

Have you read these books? Heard anything about them?

  2. I don't get many books in the mail either. I'm always envious at the amazing hauls on many bloggers' mailbox mondays!

  4. Katy--Can't wait to see what you think of Half a Moon

Rhapsody--I am envious of the people who get lots of books in the mail, but I know that if I did I would be overwhelmed and feel pressure to read them

Alyce--It is fun; kind of like Christmas or your Birthday
